Some of my favourite camera lenses are old manual-focus primes. I gave a talk at the Islesburgh Photography Club last month about adapting 'alt' lenses for use on DSLRs. One of the lenses I talked about is the Zuiko OM 50mm f1.8 (final variation, labelled 'made in japan'), which I used to take the photo above. It's a small but sharp & inexpensive lens - great to have ready in a pocket. I checked my records and I paid £10.50 for it - a bargain and definitely the best performance to the pound lens I have!
