About David Gifford

This website is a home for my photoblog. I'm passionate about photography and love to take photos of the places and wildlife around me.

I'm from the beautiful Shetland Islands, located north of Scotland. Dramatic seascapes, an unspoilt environment and abundant wildlife make Shetland a photographer's paradise.

Photography is my hobby. I recently graduated from Edinburgh University with degrees in Politics and Law, and a Diploma in Legal Practice. I'm currently home in Shetland, working for NB Communication - Shetland's web design and internet marketing specialists.

I've undertaken several photography commissions and a number of my Shetland and wildlife photos have appeared in print. Please contact me if you would like to use any of my pictures.
