Happy New Year
Hope everyone has had a good Christmas.
I've been trying out my new Canon 50mm f1.8 mkII lens and thought the Christmas tree would be an appropriate subject.
My first impressions of the lens have been very positive – impressively sharp, fun to play with in low-light and it has an excellent price:performance ratio. Yes, it's plastic and opinions vary about the bokeh, but as others have said, "there isn't a better lens for twice the price".
