Mallard on Ice
Like much of the rest of the UK, Shetland has some snow and ice at the moment. Today’s combination of snow and low winter sunlight made for ideal photographic conditions. I managed to escape the Christmas rush for a short while at lunch-time and take a few photos - including one of this Mallard skidding on a frozen loch.
