Midsummer Sunset
I took advantage of the long summer evening last night to do some hiking with the camera. This photo was taken at 10.15pm (BST). The sun only set about twenty-five minutes later and I was still photographing orange skies after midnight. In Shetland we speak about the 'Simmer Dim' - the twilight of the Shetland summer nights.
The view is looking across the hills to Muckle Roe.
