Mirrie Dancers

Mirrie Dancers

I must have been the only Shetlander who hadn’t properly seen the Aurora Borealis, so I was chuffed to see them displaying nicely last night. This is the same standing stone that I photographed last year with star trails (see ‘Time’).

The Northern Lights, or ‘Mirrie Dancers’, also gave me a chance to try out the latest addition to my kit-bag: a Zuiko 24mm f2.8 manual-focus lens (OM mount, multi-coated). It gets some positive reviews so I’m looking forward to testing it some more.
