Windfarm Under Construction
A photo of wind turbines being erected near an area of land I photographed in the photo ‘Wildscape’ back in 2009. Nestled in the hills is the Burn of Lunklet, a Site of Special Scientific Interest. As reported in the Shetland Times earlier this year, a “damning report” found that “Trout are unable to live in the Burn of Lunklet because of high concentrations of metal from the Viking construction site”.
