Broch of Burland
Where then is this remarkable broch, sitting atop precipitous cliffs for the last two millennia? I was surprised when I learned it’s only a few miles south of Lerwick; located approximately one mile south-west of Brindister Loch.
Please be aware that the broch’s entrance is perilously close to a cliff edge.
