Da Sumburgh Roost
A photo showing the strong tidal race to the south of Sumburgh Head, known as Da Roost, with Fair Isle on the horizon.
Da Roost is mentioned in the Orkneyinga Saga where it plays a part in the story of Earl Rognvald and the Dunrossness Man, which I posted previously with the photo Earl Rognvald Sunlight.
