Killer Whale off Helli Ness
Many thanks to The Mousa Boat for a fantastic trip out into Mousa Sound to watch a pod of Killer Whales last weekend!
The Mousa Boat operates trips to the uninhabited island of Mousa. Mousa is famous for the Mousa Broch - the best preserved Iron Age tower of its kind in existence. Mousa is also abundant in wildlife, including Storm Petrels which nest in the walls of the broch (and can be seen on dusk trips in the summer).
