North Haven, Fair Isle
Just back from a very enjoyable few days in Fair Isle, staying at the excellent Fair Isle Bird Observatory. It was to good see a variety of migrant birds, in nice plumage at this time of year. I'll be posting a selection of wildlife and landscape photos from my trip over the next week or so.
In the photo above, there's several visiting yachts tied-up at the pier alongside the Fair Isle ferry, Good Shepherd IV. The Bird Observatory is the building in the far centre of the pic.
