Shetland Flora: Round-leaved Sundew

Round-leaved Sundew (Drosera rotundifolia), photographed amongst Sphagnum moss. This tiny carnivorous plant catches insects using it’s red, sticky, ‘dew’-covered tendrils. It’s found throughout Shetland in boggy places on the moors.
