Stalking the Stag
I’m really chuffed with this image of a wild Red Deer stag - not from a photographic point of view, but because of how close I was able to get without (ok, ‘before’) being spotted. The tale of my first deer stalk in the Highlands involves an impenetrable forest which I used for cover, a steep climb over icy ground, several electric fences and fortunately a decent sequence of photos.
