The Steve Irwin
The 'Sea Shepherd' organisation's flagship vessel Steve Irwin in Lerwick harbour yesterday. Their crew are making preparations to head to Faroe, where they aim to prevent the annual slaughter of pilot whales. The vessel wasn't open for visitors when I was at the dock, but I did notice jet skis and a water canon on deck.
The ship is no stranger to Lerwick, as it was formerly the Scottish Fisheries Protection Agency vessel Westra.
