Up Helly Aa 2026: Leather Stitching
Stuart Nicolson applying red stitching to a leather part of the suit. The squad applied around half a million hand stitches in total (approx 9,720 stitches per suit), using 10 kilometres of thread.
Stuart was elected during the year to the Up Helly Aa committee, and wil become Jarl in 2041.
